Ballmer repeats threats against Linux
Microsoft NEEDS to protect its patents here. They have no choice because if they don't then others will start using it. Plus I wouldn't put it past linux programmers to infringe on such things anyway. This is going to give Microsoft a clear advantage over linux and bring up a lot of legal issues for it. Companies won't want to use linux at all, and those using it will start the migration off of it once they see that linux is in big legal trouble. Linux is going down very quickly and companies just can't afford to take the risk of something that won't be around soon. Chalk up one more victory for Microsoft.

I installed Windows just to watch the penguins fall over.
