- Sorry bit, but you need to relax about this stuff. The RIAA and MPAA aren't going out of business - they are making just as much or more than they ever did. Think about it - they target university students - you know the ones who don't have money to spend on their crap anyway. Its not like if these things get shutdown that the college students are suddenly going to rush out and spend all of their loan money on CDs and DVDs. I'd be more inclined to agree with you if these were business executives, but they are not. For the RIAA/MPAA this is just free advertising that they wouldn't otherwise get. They should stop worrying about it, and so should you. Trust me, there are better things to write your congressperson about than this.
