Latest success story is the UK old fogey prog rock band
Marillion. The record industry had pretty much given up on
them, so they cut out the middlemen, did everything for
themselves, and ended up in the UK top ten. Once again proving
that groups like the RIAA members provide absolutely nothing
for musicians, and exist solely to siphon away their hard earned
profits:
