FTC...Did the right thing
The last thing we need is another law from a Bono...remember the Mickey Mouse Copyright Protection Act from her late husband?

These Senators and Congressmen are the sam guys that brought you the DMCA. They never intended it to be used against manufacturers of remote control garage door openers and ink jet cartridge makers but it has been. Its a heavy handed solution to a problem that is preventable.

I have had my present computer for almost a year and have not had one instance of adware or spyware. Why? I don't download every crappy search bar app or any other program. Whenever I do download something I check it out. Those people that do get spy and adware should probably not even own a computer. The government wants to make it convenient for the morons amongs us to own a PC .
Believe me, if this law passes, somewhere there's a lawsuit waiting to be filed from some consumer against a legitimate program that he will say violated this law. We will all feel the affects of this misguided legislation.
