Criminal Trespass
I would like to see all spyware and adware labeled as criminal trespass and see our government officials like the FTC stop protecting and suggesting that there are legitimate reasons for a company or individual to secretly install software or alter files on computers which are the property of others. The idea that I want to use somebody's search engine which has taken over my browser or that I would purchase products advertised by such a seach engine is like expecting me to purchase any item that is advertised through unsolicited emails (no matter how many times I see it).

These FTC Officials should be fired for even considering this garbage represents legimate business. They probably do not have a computer and probably could not even master Windows well enough to remove spyware from their computers if they could find the power switch.

Most of the spyware and adware comes through the bottom dwelling third world programmers who have no clue as to how to write good code. Microsoft and other companies seeking expert programmer from India would do well to check out these fine exaples of coding at the lowest cost.
