Just because Notes has been a pain
at least here, doesn't mean IBM dropped the ball. And just because they sold their PC division to Lenevo, who took a couple of years to properly brand the product with their own logo doesn't mean that it was a fiasco. IBM is much beloved because they've given away a number of patents to sow culture loyalty. And as what, the number one patent holder, they can buy a lot of love with gifts, of IP or software. Maybe they'll resurrect OS/2, for kicks and giggles.
