After all the years...
... of trying to force Linux and other open source programs on the company's own employees, the result is:

"Linux is still widely used on desktop computers within IBM, Handy said. Among those using it are employees at the Linux Technology Center, IBM operations in Brazil and India, Linux sales groups, and the China software development lab, he said. 'We have big pockets of Linux users,' Handy said."

So IBM has by cajloing and threats finally forced employees at the Linux Technology Center to use Linux.

The international law on fair treatment of employees is far too lenient.

(It is, in truth. I think the international minimum standards for employment are lower than the minimum standards for prisons.)
