re: Did someone wake up IBM?
Ain't that the truth!

If anyone wants to know how truly bad IBM is with regard to software in the PC space all they need to do is read up on the history of OS/2 and what IBM did with their own operating-system.

A few years ago IBM licensed OS/2 to Serenity Systems, a small company based in Texas. They're releasing it as a new product, eComStation, based on OS/2 technology. And they have done more to make OS/2 a viable package again with millions and millions *less* in resources than IBM had at their disposal.

Combine OS/2 with Notes and SmartSuite and you have a company that is clueless.

'nuff said ...
