You are starting to sound like
Steve Jobs with that lashing out at people. For the most part I'm on your side. I don't like the idea of Google (well you do because the fund Mozilla and give them engineering expertise on FF) coming out with some web machine to match up with windows and linux desktops and I'm sure you have the same dislike for the salesforce.com platform and the "end of programming".
See, we are both in this together. It's just that when one of the good guys is the daily target of zdnet's large legion of ABMers, somebody has to be on their side. Right? Who else would all the ABMers have to be bitter about. I'm doing this for the team. If all windows users walked away from zdnet I guarantee you the readership would go down and the postbacks would basically dry up. That's because nobody wants to preach to the choir. There is no point, so really I'm doing you a favor. wink
