is that for 900 bucks you get the same hardware going into Macs of today that sell for 2000.00. Wow, nice margins!
I'm not sure why Gates doesn't come right out and say, you know what, yep, it may have some similar stylings to a Mac here and there, but that's just the shade of lipstick our designers chose and the most superficial part of any OS. Under the hood is an entirely different world where the millions of Windows programmers around the world have access to a very powerful programming platform Apple can only dream about. If you want your machine locked down tight with little configurability and feel like paying 130% more for the same hardware, then the Mac is for you.
