And that's right! All those Americans who are jobless or have replacement jobs that pay 1/10th what they used to pay are choosing a new computer over food and shelter?

Your glib generalizations are, as with your simpleminded certainties, quite amusing... if only as a form of 'gallows humor'...

I bought my new PC 3 months ago. I didn't wait for an operating system that gives you less per dollar than its predecessor, one that has already been cracked and incompatible with most antivirus and firewall solutions out there (to date).

But I will admit you're right: The American economy is DEPENDENT on its citizens spending. So we can't all be made into slaves just yet. The Indian middle class has yet to overtake ours, and many of them freely steal software. Piracy. Maybe more Americans should pirate to the rates they do and maybe we'll have jobs coming back? :crazy:

The last laugh not will be had by the anti-MS lot, but they'll be laughing too.

Those in the middle just laugh at both sides. And that's why they will have the last laugh. Pity it won't be funny.
