Computers not for the uninquisitive
People see the excitement of others using computers and want to coonnect to that experience. But I find they want the computer to be like a TV with just an On an Off button and a few adjustments. They won't buy a Windows for Dummies book or seek other resources to help them use these machines, which are actually quite complicated. And then they complain. There are printed resources that make using the computer logical and simple for most needs. Introductory courses are offered everywhere. One must make some effort on their own to start to be able to use these machines. I think people are just different in what they expect....from computers and to anything else. Not for the very non-technical mind.
