Vista Home Premium
I just got a new Dell laptop with Vista installed. I am delighted to be exploring it and setting up the preferences to my liking. I can't install the Free Zone Alarm and after I installed the free Spybot Search and Destroy software, that software gave me problems. Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel has been renamed. Outlook Express is now called Microsoft.mail and there was no link on IE7 for mail until I finally found it and put one on the toolbar. Otherwise I am ok with the new OS. Seems that things are arranged for more expediency. So far I am ok with it. Enjoy the new background screens. I like the Welcome window that appears at startup. You can uncheck it so it won't appear, but I find it a good portal to many areas of the system.
