If at first you don't succeed, blame the user.

So, yeah, you might call shifting the blame for bad security to users as a "bump on the road." Or you might call it denial, or arrogance...there are a lot of labels you could hang on that strategy. The bottom line is they're expecting more security problems to surface and this is the preemptive blame strike.

We told you before it was those darn users!
