A better world?
The problem is, what constitutes a 'better world' is pretty subjective. You like it when government uses power in ways you agree with, but what if someone like Loverock was president of the regional council and spent millions of tax euros buying the student edition of Microsoft Office for all those kids. He'd say that'd be making for a better world, giving these kids a better shot at getting an actual job. Given that 1 in 4 French workers under the age of 25 is unemployed, he'd have a pretty strong argument.
