"Proficient with Office Tools like MS Office"

I highlighted like. It's like "Proficient with Accounting software like Simply Accounting." If you came in with expert knowledge of QuickBooks then that is what they are looking for. People don't look for specific vendor application experience. Not unless the person you want to hire is already known but you have to post the job due to union rules. Then they go very specific so that no one but that person can meet the requirements.

To go too specfic in this labour market would mean you lose out on skills. Also who wouldn't put proficient with Microsoft Products. Ever opened a word document? Then you're profiecient. If they are looking for expert in Microsoft products then that's not something you ask for. If you want someone who can use a word processor you don't ask for Microsoft Office expert.
