They don't look for that. They look for people who aren't scared of a computer. If you know a office suite you know an office suite. It doesn't matter any more. You're talking a decade ago.

Also say a 10 year old learns Office 2003 today. When they graduate post secondary education at the age of 22 some 12 years later will that specific knowledge in Word 2003 even be relevant. I think not! What is relevant is that they know how to use a word processor as they will have passed many generation of office technology before they have to apply for that job. At that point it doesn't matter what brand is used they will be proficient with software at general level. Not like workers today that started with a type writer and had to learn Office 95 by rote and never understanding what they were doing.
