That's a solution?
Seriously, Linux still doesn't run a lot of Windows-based programs, and until that happens, Linux will remain sidelined for the majority of users.

To be honest, it's one reason I've not gone to OpenSUSE yet. I've programs galore that /won't/ run under any Linux, and there's no equivalent for them. So, investment loss is going to continue to happen until Linux has equivalents for certain base Windows subsystems. Yes, some of these are available, but not to current standards. WINE and other Windows emulators are still not fully reliable. Running XP as a VPC session (VPC = Virtual PC) is a possible solution, but is probably difficult for all but the most dedicated ?ber-techie.
