- How about letting the product speak for itself, for once?
-
I know this will never happen, but how about we scrap the marketing and let the product speak for itself, on its own merit? This marketing fluff and hoo-haa is eyewash to cover up Vista's serious drawbacks and violations of customer rights, with draconian restrictions, DRM to the hilt, huge memory and processing requirements, and selling out to the media industry.
For those of us fortunate enough to be empowered to make decisions about such things in our business, I'm not going to see vista deployed on any of our user workstations, when some of our stuff works just fine on 'ancient' windows 2000 and XP. - Posted by: kraterz Posted on: 01/29/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
