Is Bush going to sponsor the bill?
To me, this sounds like an excuse to change some regulations for the telecom industry such as making it easier for them to bury lines on govt land.

Companies aren't going to install broadband anywhere that they can't make a profit doing so...no matter what the Prez sez.

In rural areas, where they must run miles of cable to accomodate a couple of users, the cost to the consumer would be so astronomical that it's silly to think they would pay it.

The only stimulation to the economy GW is after is some extra cash from the telecom guys.....
