You want 'hands off'?...go along with Pres. Bush

In the future you may wish to consider re-reading an article before posting about it.
The article articulates Pres. Bush?s plan to decrease regulations (deregulate) the boundaries currently burdened upon commercial providers of broad band.
In a sense, this is the government ?taking their hands off? as you have so eloquently stated. Sen. Kerry?s camp is speculating more regulatory control which typically slows down the wheel of progress. In addition to more regulation there?s contemplation of making it so that city dwellers pay an inflated rate in hopes that the rural ?less fortunate? are enabled access to broadband. This is a bunch of hooey. There are plenty of well off folk that live in more rural areas and lots of down and outers living the city. Besides, why should someone who makes more money pay for someone else to have broadband access? That?s more like socialist thinking then good ?ol American capitalists!

Furthermore you shared concerns of over-taxation from our current president. Have you been hiding in a cave with Saddam? Pres. Bush has lowered taxes, even making it so that millions of families received an ?extra? tax refund check. Sen. Kerry, on the other hand, has actually voted to raise taxes a couple of hundred times during his term.
