You are an exception, but it makes little difference if it's Windows, Macs, the most recent versions of LINUX, welll maybe LINUX isn't quite that friendly, but it sure has changed from the "old days"<:-))! Most consumers, or in this case computer users (and I mean far more than a majority) are not equipped to do much more than plug it in, turn it on, run a run a word processor or spread sheet, web browser, read e-mail and maybe do some downloading. That is along way from being capable of upgrading an OS, particularly when it's a hardware dependent as Vista.
