Now I understand completely. The guy wants to take all of his one and a half windoze machines to the tallest cliff and toss them from there.

What?!?
It was clear that microsoft had lost touch with reality some time back, and this just reinforces that fact. With the exception of security, every one of those "features" are available today on any platform thanks to third party apps. In fact, that's the way they should be, and not tied to the OS.

How about the facts they conveniently avoided mentioning, the DRM, the draconian restrictions, the fact that vista will run slower than 2K or XP on the same hardware, and some graphics cards can't even handle aero, etc? And the fact that vista will treat you like a criminal and periodically check your hardware/software to ensure you're honest and not doing something microsoft doesn't authorize you to?
