We need to put the consumer's "willingness to buy because of the eye candy" ahead of consumer safety. So, just because Consumer Reports says a particular car seat is flat-out DANGEROUS, we need to honor an ignorant purchaser's contention "It looks so dang good in the back seat of the BMW, why, it even matches the leather seats!"

I'll bet you stood up for Iacocca's fighting against putting seat belts in Fords 'cause it clashed with the upholstery, din't ya?
