Just as different Microsoft staff can have different goals, so different buyers can respond to different priorities in deciding to purchase.


O'Bie, there are good reasons to criticize Microsoft, but in this case you're pointing out one of the company's relative strengths.

One argument I could make against Vista is that if Vista SE, the version with all those features left out in the rush to market, will be made available as soon as 2 years from now, then maybe waiting has advantages.
