FAKE -- not a REAL Service Pack

Here's the scoop on the "service pack". At first Microsoft said they had no plans for a Vista SP -- to try to show how good Vista is right now (that it doesn't even need a service pack).

Then, most businesses said they were NOT deploying Vista until at least SP1 -- because so many higly paid consutants say that's the smart thing to do.

So, with the trend growing that people are going to wait for SP1, Microsoft is cynically going to roll out "SP1" as quickly as possible. "Here's SP1 everybody, hapyy now?" They would issue it the day after Vista hits the market if they could, just to get the Vista money ball rolling as fast as possible.
