The only people to whom this launch is important are people to whom the letters "MSFT" are important.

Regular folks, to whom just the letters "OS" are important, either couldn't care less or are groaning with the amount of extra work or extra money out of their pockets this means.

Without WinFS, Vista is just WinXP SP2.1.
