On TechRepublic: Windows 7: Slower to boot than Vista?

Many doctors and lawyers
I would have to assume, need a computer and Operating System that will do what they would need it to do, when they need it to do it.

In many a situation where life and death matters, it is most definately not the time to be experimenting with an untride Operating System.

As to the question of "how much do they need" one should ask themselves: How much will I need going forward from this point in time? A question that, whether we like to admitt it or not, can be answered by Windows, though not so well from the standpoint of Linux.
