IE 7 is classically unoriginal
While I don't have to worry about Windows and its IE anymore as I recently
switched to Mac, I do have my opinion. IE 7 essentially added things like tabs and
a more modern look to accommodate for the growing number of people who are
moved by glossy buttons and pretty effects (like everyone who has ever seen
freewebs and said "ooh, how advanced".) But I judge browsers by how efficient
they are, and how user-friendly they have potential to be. In using the tabs
feature, the tabs would make the whole thing crash on certain occasions.
Assuming that this might be a result of my computer, I over-looked it when
making my initial opinion. I found that the browser was generally "laggy" and was
not very quick about bringing up pages. Perhaps I just haven't looked up enough
info on IE 7 or I just didn't give it a good enough chance. But from the "what would
an average person think?" based aspect. I would have to say that IE 7 is just
another browser that does not stand out.
