if you don't have use of it, why...
...do you cry to have it available as OSS ?

Up to now; all the advocates of OSS models claim to have the power to port a solution to Linux.

God damned, if you?re so good do the job from scratch!

For sure, it?s going to be damned easier to still the code of someone else than to create, develop and enhance it.

And by the way, for who?

For the Linux zealots who represent less than 5% of the market share and who would never ever pay a buck for a product they even don?t need to use!

Please be a little bit serious.

If you don?t need to use the MS environment (and I won?t blame you for that), just move away and develop (if you even are able to do it) what you need for whatever your new predilection environment may be, but in the same time please stop to cry if the solutions you get are just crap like open office, vpn and so on..

And as a matter of fact, you already pay for what you purportedly got for free.

The purported ?free? community is most exclusively made by research of teachers and students in university. And they are paid (directly as teachers or indirectly by scholarship as students) for what they do.

Then, after few years, most of them move on and you stay glued with their purported free work (that you, your parents, the government and commercial corporations paid for).

So, please be a little bit realistic.
