Your use of "Linsux" takes away from your: points...limited as they may be. However you miss a several very important points. First, Linux is young and developing..it will improve. More importantly to many people and buisness is the Microsoft TAX. Even B. Gates thinks that computer systems will continue to get cheeper. So let's say I'm going to spend $199.00 on some future Pentium or AMD system that runs at 3ghz comes with hald a gig of memory, and a 120gig fast IDE hard drive, and throw in a 128mb video card. All for $199.00. Now I find that MS Windows coasts me $50.00 bucks, and what's far worse MS Office costs me like $400.00 bucks! So for the cost of roughly $450.00 I can start using the $199.00 computer system.....I have too say I'd start thinking hmmmmmmm, is there another option? How much will it cost me to use a distro of Linux and some version of Open Office?
