Office has been able to run in a Linux environment for years. We that user linux know this. But the real question is who would want to? When there are alternatives like Open Office who in there right or left mind would want to. There are very few users that need the "extras" that come with MS Office that aren't already in Open Office.
Give it a try and tell me what is not there that you need and someone will put it into the product.
Give us a break for having a little smarts...
