You are talking educational claptrap.

In case you didn't know, when the BBC was introduced, most businesses had computers only in the mainframe/minicomputer sense if they had computers at all. At the time of the BBC it was pretty much the same capacity and power as the Apple II. Oddly enough people did pretty well crossing between the two. Not to mention such as the Commodore PET etc. Weirdly enough, what UK schools were doing with the BBC was actually considered world leading in educational circles.

Other that what seems as your completely deficient knowledge of history, it would seem you think that computer skills should be limited to learning basic office skills. What a pity.
