Hopefully the schools will transition to open standards to avoid helping
commercial companies and lock students to Windows. Actually, most schools should stay with Windows XP/2000 for now, but migrate to OpenOffice, FireFox, GIMP, etc, for applications. The switch to Linux will be a no-brainer at some point, but no need to force it right now.
