MS is a software company, Apple is a hardware company
Gates and Jobs have been friends for decades. The press and you like to use the
world Nemesis.

Apple is a vertical enterprise. It writes software for its machines primarily and for
Windows secondarily. Writing for Windows brings more people to its platform.

Microsoft's vision is to be on every personal computer in the world, which is why
they wrote Word and Excel for Mac.

They stole the Mac interface and made Windows. Apple did not see that coming.

Office for Mac is the number one selling software for Apple computers.

Now, Windows runs on Apple Computers natively in parallel with OS X. Microsoft
has not protested, nor could it. It provides software to hardware manufacturers.

The companies are no longer enemies, they are collaborators.
