CA in trouble - but Kumar roguery more than "distraction"
?CA in much bigger trouble than this distraction?

We?d all agree that CA has long term problems, unrelated to Mr Kumar?s self-serving behavior. Which isn?t to say that the company and its customers aren?t well rid of him.

?So IBM is just going to pound them through MAJOR cost cutting for similar (good-enough) products as well as low/no risk migration customer engagements.?

You?re kidding, right? IBM as the Wal-Mart of software? Never happened: never will. IBM isn?t trying to drive out the competition so that it can LOWER prices.

?Candle simply gave up and sold out for half of what it was once worth. ?

No, Candle was always Aubrey Chernick?s personal baby. He retired, not ?gave up? and the price paid was more than fair for a company that has been failing for years. Just ask any of the Candle employees who have been laid off.
