Not a racism!
Why the heck looking for reason in "no-reason" area? Anyone feels too Indian and tries to accuse of wrong motives?

The real motives of stepping down in this situations are:

1. Wrong association with members of management. It means that even though a memeber was not at any fault, the public will associate failure with the member. Such a move also porotects the member from public bad branding and accusations. The member of the board or CEO , even if not guilty, has to step down to calm down situation and let business continue and to avoid disruptions in business relationships. It is just a matter of perception rather than culpability. It is better for a company and the manager to cut those potencial associations before they start disrupting continuity of business.

2. The person is not properly positioned in business (relationships!) or has no particular competence in the especially difficult situation for a company. It is better then to step down and pass the leading role to someone with established reputation and experience in such such difficult situations. There is no place or time for candidate to step down to learn and experiment while entire business is jeopardy and faces legal consequences on scale that enormous like CA is facing now. In other words there is no place for a "good and warm" buddy in harsh times. It has to be expert handler in such dangerous situations.

So do you still think it does do anythig with someones origin?

To be honest, we are in the USA and this nation (or rather society) is multinational by nature. If we really started fighting based on racism that would be total mess... and I believe that this nation departs divisions by race or origin. It still keeps them by sexual orientation if you were able to notice, but not race or origin.

We have more or less simlar chances as Mr. Sanjay Kumar, but that also means that there are people better and worst suited for the task.
