First: Why do people always need to draw Microsoft into a discussion. This article had nothing to do with Microsoft. Yet here you are vainly trying to bash them.

Second: Windows 98 is nine (9) years old. Windows ME is seven (7) years old. Hardly the same comparison.

Third: Why not just state what is obvious to most people instead of trying to fanagle an Microsoft bash into your response: Fedora was never intended to be supported long term. The concept was flawed from the start. This is not a reflection of Linux but of the Fedora Legacy concept. Too many versions to support.

Fourth: I do have to argree with the GP...the belief that all free software development is going to attract developers working for free is fundamentally flawed. People have bills to pay and mouths to feed. One cannot expect that everyone is going to program for free. It cannot be self sustaining.
