Now one of the most complicated and convoluted pieces of open source software, Sendmail, will become even more complicated and convoluted. Far be it for me to say, but Sendmail is an eyesore. Responsible for far too many CERT reports and with too restrictive a submissions policy for third parties. They are Open Source in that they show the code, but they practically demand forking because of their commit policies.
