I was talking about after ethernet was developed.
Not some proprietory packet crap in the 60s & 70s on a 300 baud modem. That stuff back then was so slow and non standard that they hired Bill Joy to come up with a standard. Even DARPA's version was awful that Joy rewrote it to work better at Berkeley with BSD, around 1981. Then DARPA used his version.

Then Novell came out with a kit to network computers that made life so much easier in 1983. OSS came out much later with a generic knockoff, around 1992. It is you that needs to close the blowhole and learn grammar and spelling. You guys always rewrite history. It is nothing but shameless promotion.
