Yes some do quit but this whole thing has a lot of baggage. All you linked was the official reports. It may be true but I don't believe it.

I am afraid you are the one that is emotional. You always believe things at face value? I watch what people do instead of what they say.

Having a celebrity on the payroll is demoralizing after a while to the other rank and file. Too much prima donna issues, and this one around is a conflict of interest with Samba folks not seeing the MS/Novell code to interoperate with linux. Since GPL2 was OK with this, why all the fuss? I believe Samba was the conflict and he is hopping mad.

In the end, When SUSE can interoperate with MS and vice versa, this whole thing right now will be moot. Eventually the software that does this will be licensed to other distros. Not only that, Jerry will be getting his documentation eventually. Pragmatic solutions always trump the idealogical ones.
