?But if you could show some sort of proof, your comment might hold some water.?

The fact that I said it should be proof enough! I?m just kidding. I guess the point I was kind of making was that a lot of the energy that fuel companies? efforts to make money from OSS come from the participants? ideals. In time however, some see that OSS does not pay the bills as nearly as well as proprietary software, and make the practical decision to seek better enumeration elsewhere. Remember, quite a number of the people in the OSS movement are like most people: over time they actually look around to see how they can better their incomes and themselves.
