Cut and Paste.: Lastly, cut and paste in Linux does not work correctly either. ... in there is what counts.

For me, cut and paste works perfectly... across different apps as long as they are under the same instance of the X Windows. I just highlight what I want to copy and paste it where ever. All with the mouse!!! That's copy and paste, to cut, I just delete the original instance. Also, most well made apps and desktop environments give your the Ctrl-X/C/V shortcuts.

But, you knew that didn't you?

And MS is more worried about icons, screen fonts, ... well not themes, and features than actual functionality. Reason I started using Linux and BSD.

You want to talk about standards!!! MS would rather redefine them for their own ends than to follow open set ones (IE is the perfect example).

Every once in a while you say something valid, but most of the time your just post flame bait. Its obvious that Linux is here to stay and is a viable solution to many NOW (maybe not for you). Why else would it hold the media's attention for so long. If it was just hype, it wouldn't last 3-4 years!!!
