You are WRONG
There are three primary ways people get Spyware:

1. The installation of so-called IE Search-Bars (there are a few safe one's, such as Google).

2. The installation of Freeware/Shareware programs. Yes, Kazaa is in this group but hardly the only source.

3. Saying YES to every damned grey box that pops up on the screen asking "Would you like to install....."
