No Apologies needed :We Have Our Martha
Huzzah, today we find out that Cnet reporters have broken another Martha Stewart story. The Dunn Hurd HP identity fraud has always involved the chairman of the Regulation, Enforcement and Listing Standards Committee of the New York Stock Exchange and the chairman of its Legal Advisory Committee. We missed this key bit of OH ITS SO MARTHA

Today HP cut Larry W. Sonsini off at the knees

Lets view this Microsoft, HP joining of forces story as graft. Again we must assume this given Judge Jackson's categorization of Microsoft as a company run by gangsters and given Hurd's involvement with the Dunn Cnet and HP reporter identity theft.

Lets suppose that Congress in exposing the special pricing HP had "earned" from Intel with Itanium, almost killed the Itanium horse.

Lets suppose that Microsoft managment in makeing guarentees regarding Itanium based Software - specifically SQL Server 2005, which benchmarks well on that hardware, just can not get off the dieing horse because this time there are penulties that can not be ignored.

Lets suppose that some hush money is involved in the joining of forces.

This story, which Cnet/Zdnet originated not only involves the governator of the state of californis, who must have influenced the AG to go easy on HP - so the story of his and through Barkelys Bank Dunn's connection with Enron would not become so well known but also, through HP's outside board lawyer, the NYSE itself.

Sonsini, be like Martha. We are a forgiving nation.
