Microsoft Intel HP Tatanium
No suprise here. Heads at Microsoft and HP in charge of Itanium rolled at about the same time Congress exposed a secret deal involving Itanium, HP, Microsoft and Intel. It was this deal that likely was what Dunn and Hurd were afraid board members were going to leak. The CFO of HP is now giving up the ship.

Vested interest in Itanium should be considered sunk costs. It it is time to give that 5 year old failure the heave ho.
