A couple of reasons actually
First off, I have had Redhat9 on my computer for quite a while now. That means that I have suffered through most of my problems. Because of this I don't want to reformat and put on another distro, as that will inevitably create different problems (or maybe just repeat the same ones). I find it unlikely that any other distribution would be too much better from a usability standpoint (although if you have a suggestion, I'm listening). Usually there is adequate internet support to get stuff working - it just takes a very long time sometimes.

As for OSX - I would LOVE to get my hands on it - unfortunately I really don't have the cash to fork out for a macintosh. I suppose it goes without saying why I wouldn't be using windows as it is seems that these days windows is an operating system 20% of the time and a tool for the spread of advertising and viruses the other 80% of the time.
