Apple stakes their claim
To providing tools for creation. This could get interesting, given Microsoft's focus on delivery. I wonder how long before Apple embraces OpenOffice and seriously challenges Microsoft for office content creation too?

For those who are interested, checkout the Mac OS X version of OO, it's a very nice piece of work and certainly the equal of MS Office for everything I want to do.
