Home Users not IT Dept.'s
Many home users will upgrade when they buy a new PC soon. That is where the money is from. No one said that it is all from IT.

Is ZDNet only available on the bitter channel now? Can it's commenter?s read?

MS drives software and hardware sales and that is good for business. Sales. To those who mix this report up as being about IT dept.'s in corporations, they will have LESS jobs as Vista will be easy to deploy and much less support will be needed. Your bosses I am sure read (and understand) the full reports. You should read them too - ask your bosses to decipher them. The logic behind businesses waiting to deploy a new OS is so that all their employees get used to using them at home first, i.e., no training required - but as we all get much more savvy, the employees will tell you that Vista was a cinch to learn - so deploy soon.
