Not quite...

Microsoft is NOT a monopoly just because a court says so.

Microsoft Windows is a monopoly whether or not any body says so, That has just been it's status. However, monopoly status is neither illegal nor is it unethical, it just means that you control the majority of market.
What Microsoft was rightly convicted of was unjustly using their monopoly power to intentionally and illegally suppress the competion, so that consumers were pressured (for lack of a better word) to choose Microsoft.
